On 26 May 2026, the Women’s Fellowship members attended a retreat organized by the Women’s Fellowship of St. Peter’s CSI Church, following an invitation extended to our congregation. The retreat was centered on the theme, “The Role of Women in Contemporary Christian Society.”
The guest speaker was Rev. Siby P. J., Vicar of St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India, Kuwait. Drawing inspiration from women in the Bible such as Deborah, Esther, Hannah, Lydia, Priscilla, and the Samaritan woman, he highlighted the significant roles women continue to play in Christian life and society.
The key reflections from the session were:
- Women as Capable Leaders
- Women as Courageous Protectors
- Women as Faithful Mothers
- Women as Diligent Caregivers
- Women as Coworkers in Ministry
- Women as Witnesses of Faith
The session was followed by a group discussion in which participants were divided into five groups to discuss and present their responses to the assigned questions. The retreat concluded with interactive games and fellowship, making it a meaningful and enriching experience for all who attended.
