On 19 September 2026, the Women’s Fellowship organized its first Health Awareness Program on Breast Cancer Awareness at the Chapel, St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Ahmadi.
The program began with an opening prayer led by Mrs. Sucy Mathew, followed by a warm welcome by Mrs. Shainey Ajay, Vice President of the Women’s Fellowship.
Rev. Christian Mbona, Associate Priest of St. Paul’s Anglican Church and President of the Diocesan Mothers’ Union, delivered the inaugural address, encouraging and inspiring the women gathered for the occasion.
Mrs.Anu Kurien introduced the guest speaker, Dr. Suzanne Cherian, who spoke on the importance of women’s health and delivered an informative presentation on Breast Cancer Awareness, emphasizing the value of awareness and early detection. The presentation was followed by an interactive Question-and-Answer session, giving participants an opportunity to clarify their concerns.
Mrs. Leela Joseph ,Mrs. Sonia Belju, Mrs. Sheela Jerry and Mrs. Suja Joy welcomed and honoured the guests with bouquets and tokens of appreciation.
Ms. Renita Susan Jacob served as the emcee for the programme and guided the proceedings, while Mrs. Nisha Dolton, Women’s Fellowship Secretary, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
The event concluded with a closing prayer led by Mrs.Leela Joseph
The program was a meaningful and enriching gathering, encouraging women to value their health, support one another, and recognize their God-given worth. The ladies concluded the program with the powerful affirmation that was led by Mrs.Ivy Anu John
