Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Regularly we celebrate first Friday of September as Choir day. On this special occasion I appreciate all the Choir members and leaders of our Church. May God bless them to sing with heavenly angels.
We always love music and love to sing. But the reason to love to sing in our own Church choir is so much deeper than that. Following are the main four reasons why one should love to sing in the Choir of his own Church.
Firstly singing in our own church choir give us an opportunity to express our love for the Lord. We are so thankful for God’s love and mercy and for the sacrificial life and death of Jesus and the victory of His resurrection. How else we could express the profound spiritual understanding of the goodness of God that is beyond words which will only be revealed in our heart through the work of God’s Holy spirit. Musical praise is the best way to express our gratitude to Him.
Secondly, to be a part of Church Choir is more than a hobby or a mere activity. It is a calling by God. God allowed us to have the ability to participate in something which brings Him glory in the congregation. He has created us with particular gifts and talents We believe that the calling for ministry through these gifts is what produces faithful Choir members.
Thirdly, singing in the Church choir allows us to express our praise to the Lord., which could not be accomplished in any other ways.
Fourthly, singing in our Church choir allows us to participate in the overall ministry of leading the worship service, which is a great joy and privilege.
