Beloved in Christ,
Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The first Friday of September we are celebrating as Choir day. I take this opportunity to appreciate all Choir members and leaders of our Church. May the Almighty God bless them to sing with holy angels. The book of Ephesians Chapter 3 words 13 – 17 says “The Christ may dwell in your heart through faith”. Here we have a great prayer of the Apostle. He prays that his readers may be strengthened with the holy spirits might in the very core of their being. He prays that Christ may dwell in your hearts and that they being fully established in his love, may get a full conception of its incredible gift. St. Paul is in his chains, yet he prays. He is praying with all the saints.
Christianity has never been a religion practiced in isolation. From its beginning it has been a fellowship of believers sharing in a new life in Christ in the company of one another. Prayer, Meditation and worship are all enriched when undertaken in a corporate manner. This is the point that lies behind St. Paul’s prayer“the Church as a whole comprehends the deeper things of God in a way and to an extent inscrutable for an isolated individual”. St. Paul prays for the unity of all believing man“having the inward man penetrated by the influence of Christ and permeated by his presence, in other words, a world united in love”. He prays for a humanity filled up to the fullness of God and actually made one with the divine fullness.
St. Paul Prays (1) That they may be strengthened with the might, through his spirit in the inner man.
(2) That Christ may dwell in their heart through faith
(3) That they may be rooted and grounded in love of Christ
(4) That they may be filled with all the fullness of God.
May God bless all Choir members.
Yours in Christ
