Love is the best thing that ever happens to anyone. Beauty is external, love is very much internal. Love is an emotion which flows from your heart; it is a strong feeling of affection, loyalty, and concern for someone… It cannot be compelled… It is a promise…. a souvenir… once given – never forgotten, never let it disappear… It brightens your days and nights and true love creates no shadows…
As written in Deuteronomy 6:4 “Listen, people of Israel! The Lord our God is the only Lord. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. Always remember these commands I give you today. Teach them to your children, and talk about them when you sit at home and walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them down and tie them to your hands as a sign. Tie them on your forehead to remind you, and write them on your doors and gates”. Respect the Lord, worship Him and obey His commands. “Love the Lord your God and always obey his orders, rules, laws, and commands” (Deuteronomy 11:1) God’s love is so promising and rewarding. It gives you courage, and brings wisdom. It strengthens and guides you through the paths of difficulties. It allows you to cast your burden upon Him. Life at its best is a series of challenges. “Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee” (Psalm 55:22).
Dear all, we should love each other because love comes from God. We as a Church, a Christian community must understand each others’ needs and help, support and love each other. That is exactly what the Lord is required of us. John 13:34 says, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you,… love one another.” We are to let His light shine brightly through our love. Let us love one another, for love is of God. Every kindness done to others (even to the people we like the least) is a kindness done to Him. As written in the book of Leviticus (19:18), “Forget about the wrong things people do to you, and do not try to get even.
Love your neighbor as you love yourself. I am the Lord” First Corinthians 13 describes Christian love in terms of its tangible expression: ‘Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not get upset with others. Love does not count up wrongs that have been done. Love is not happy with evil but is happy with the truth. Love patiently accepts all things. It always trusts, always hopes, and always remains strong.
“Love never ends.” Apostle Paul says, “I may give away everything I have, and I may even give my body as an offering to be burned. But I gain nothing if I do not have love.” “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love to us: He sent his one and only Son into the world so that we could have life through him. This is what real love is: It is not our love for God; it is God’s love for us in sending His Son to be the way to take away our sins.” If we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is made perfect in us. God is love. Those who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
