Wisdom

Dear Loved ones in Christ,

Greetings in the name of our precious Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

King Solomon talks about the wisdom in Proverbs Ch. 2:6 “for the Lord gives wisdom and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding”. When he was consecrate d as the King of Israel, the Lord appeared and asked him what he would desire to have from the Lord. King Solomon chos the best thing – Wisdom- I Kings 3:7-9 “And now, O LORD my God, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in. And thy servant is in the midst of thy people which thou hast chosen, a great people, that cannot be numbered nor counted for multitude. Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?” The Lord was very much pleased with his request and granted him the knowledge of wisdom. The people of God acknowledge that wisdom is from the Lord. All the other religious people believe that the knowledge of God is true wisdom. Therefore they meditated for many years to acquire the knowledge and wisdom from God to achieve many things in this world. King Solomon talks about the benefits of God’s wisdom. He says “do be wise in your own eyes – fear the Lord and shun evil”. This will bring you wealth, knowledge and understanding in your life. He wrote three chapters in the book of Proverbs about the true knowledge of God’s wisdom. The Apostle James also talks about wisdom and gives us a clue in James Ch.1v.5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” Knowledge is not for: Pride, Domination and Divisionbut God gives Knowledge for Unity, Peace and Reconciliation Let us therefore understand the truth from God and help the community to grow in the Knowledge of God to fight against the evils like terrorism, castism, brutalism and all the other evils that are damaging the creation of God and human kind. I thank God Almighty for enabling me to serve as the vicar of this great congregation for the last 3 years. When I look back, I and my family received innumerable mercies and grace from the Lord. It’s a great honor and privilege to be part of this affluent congregation. You were so kind and gave good support throughout my ministry. From the bottom of our hearts, we sincerely thank each one of this congregation for your love and concern.

May God Bless you.
